Lots of puffy polyester fill for warmth, rip-stop nylon uppers and lining (for easy on and off) but with a microfleece footbed to wick moisture away from your skin and keep you dry and your toes toasty.
A textured rubber mudguard and outsole provide nonslip traction on smooth surfaces (but use caution on ice, please!) and are water resistant and great in dry cold conditions. No treads so they won't track in snow.
There are two shock cord/toggle cinch points so that you can keep your foot in place, and snow out (or cool air--brrrr).
Cute, over-the-ankle height is very packable and practical. Washer/dryer friendly.

I like the booties, but they just are not insulated enough for even sitting around the house at 65 degrees F. I wear heavy boot weight socks by Smartwool. Please double the insulation thickness.
